15 April - 1 May 2010
The work of Janz has become identified with themes of time and process, in particular the blooming and aging of flowers. His present work takes its cue from commentaries on the Heart Sutra “Emptiness is Form, Form is Emptiness”. This can be considered as a way of saying that all is ephemeral and impermanent, nothing fixed and lasting. In the flow of change then focus of mind becomes crucial. The current show of paintings and wire line constructions explore ways of paying attention.
The exhibition will continue until Saturday 1st of May, 2010 and can be viewed prior to the Opening.
