Graham Gingles was born in Co. Antrim in 1943, attended Belfast College of Art and has resided and worked in Northern Ireland ever since. In 1980/81 he became a recipient of the British School at Rome Scholarship. His first one-person exhibition took place at the Arts Council Gallery in Belfast after his return from Rome in 1981.
